Thwaites-owned Bury town centre pub The Two Tubs has undergone a £150,000 refurbishment in a bid to restore the C16th building to its former glory.
From the Thwaites press release:
New landlord Thomas Kennedy has overseen extensive repairs and improvements to both the interior and exterior frontage which has given the establishment a much-needed overhaul, while retaining its character …
The pub has also extended its selection of Thwaites cask ales, including Nutty Black, Thwaites Original and selected guest ales, along with an improved menu of locally sourced, traditional home-cooked dishes, such as daily special hotpots and pies, fish and chips and of course Bury’s famous black pudding.
